MAIN ANNUAL ADMISSION

January Intake

The January intake is the principal admissions window for Eden University. It opens enrollment across all faculties, including intensive clinical medical programmes that run on an annual calendar.

Eligible Programme Areas:

  • School of Medicine: MBChB (Medicine & Surgery), BSc & Diploma in Clinical Medicine, Biomedical Sciences, Public Health, Occupational Health & Safety.
  • School of Nursing & Midwifery: BSc Nursing, Diploma in Nursing, Midwifery, Public Health Nursing.
  • School of Pharmacy: BSc Pharmacy, Diploma in Pharmacy.
  • School of Law & Business: Bachelor of Law, Accounting, Banking, Business Management, Marketing, HRM.
  • School of Education & Humanities: Primary & Secondary Degrees, Early Childhood, Social Work, Guidance & Counselling, ICT.

MID-YEAR ADMISSION

July Intake

The July intake is designed for students seeking mid-year enrollment, certificate holders advancing their studies, and working professionals pursuing distance-learning or evening education.

Eligible Programme Areas:

  • School of Law & Business: Bachelor of Law (LLB), BSc in Business Management, Accounting & Finance, Marketing.
  • School of Education: Secondary Degree, Primary Degree, Early Childhood Diploma, Teaching Methodology (Distance).
  • School of Humanities & Social Sciences: Social Work, Guidance & Counselling, Development Studies, ICT.
  • Distance Learning Health Programmes: BSc Nursing (Distance for practicing nurses), BSc Clinical Medicine (Distance).
  • Postgraduate Programmes: Master of Public Health, Master of Social Work, Education Management.

How to Prepare for the Upcoming Intake

1. Apply Early: For competitive programmes like Medicine (MBChB), Nursing, and Pharmacy, laboratory and clinical training quotas are strictly managed. Early submission gives you the best chance of securing your place.

2. Prepare Your Qualifications: Ensure your ECZ, Cambridge, ZIMSEC, or other school-leaving certificates/statements of results are clear and verified. Review the minimum admission criteria.

3. Pay Application Processing Fee: Pay the non-refundable processing fee of ZMW 150 (Zambian applicants via Airtel/MTN mobile money) or ZMW 600 (International applicants via Mukuru/WorldRemit).

4. Submit Online Application: Complete the online submission form on our portal. Our admissions advisory team verifies your submission and issues your acceptance confirmation.

5. Arrival & Registration: Upon receiving your admission letter, attend orientation and register for your semester courses. Full tuition is paid per semester directly to Eden University at registration. See Tuition & Fees details.

Eden University offers flexible study modes to accommodate both full-time school leavers and employed professionals across Zambia:

Full-Time On Campus (Lusaka)

Attend daily lectures and clinical practicals at Eden University's main campus in Barlastone Park, Lusaka. Ideal for undergraduate clinical medicine, nursing, pharmacy, and science students.

Distance & Blended Learning

Designed for working adults and distance learners across all 10 Zambian provinces and neighboring countries. Features virtual learning, periodic residential schools, and independent modules.
